Why did Leo Laskin build QuoteWillow?

Leo Laskin is the founder of QuoteWillow, based in Central Florida. Leo started building QuoteWillow in September 2026 after talking with general contractors from past projects. The contractors described the same problem: hours spent driving out to homes, estimating, researching costs and working out permit fees, only to learn the homeowner’s budget was nowhere near what the project would actually cost.

Leo has been on the homeowner’s side too. Before a 1,000-square-foot outbuilding was built on the family’s property in 2026, Leo spent hours researching what it should cost and compared prices from several contractors to work out the right finish level. Since then, every contractor Leo has spoken with has described the same wasted time. QuoteWillow gives homeowners a preliminary range from the contractor’s own prices before anyone drives out.
